The BIG Charisma

(this is an inspirational poem, that will make everybody achieve something really great in their lives,i assure!)

When the world outside,
remains dark,
just for you;
when the people outside,
remain furious,Frown
just with you;
when the place
around you,
tells you,
you are a "nobodyInnocent"
think "BIG"!

when you lose,
when your luck fails,
when you are miserable
and you are misunderstood;
when people forget you,
or tend to ignore you,
or intend to hurt,
just think "BIG"!Smile

when you are not listened to,
your presence is not felt,
and you feel lost------
when you break down
and lose your self confidence
or feel bitter,
dream "BIG"!

when people step over you,
or make you cry hard,Cry
and you think you are---
"A LOSER", "A GONER"
and you forget to smile,
just dream "BIG"!Wink

when nobody you like, believes in you,
and they lose their faith in what you can do,
or throw away hopes of what you are capable of,
become "BIG"!Cool

BE YOURSELF,   BELIEVE IN YOURSELF,
ACHIEVE "BIG":FOR YOU ARE BORN TO WIN!

(YOU ARE THE BEST ALWAYS!!!)

BECAUSE "BIG" ALWAYS STANDS FOR

B   - 'B'ecause

I     - 'I'm    (THIS 'I' IN "BIG" REFERS TO EVERY INDIVIDUAL READING THIS POEM)

G   - 'G'reat!

.
“An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind” said the father our nation, Mahatma Gandhi, a staunch believer of peace.  And this talk about India being a soft target, for the terrorists, is not entirely baseless, but now I put a question here.
We all  stand united in showcasing the fact that India is poor, the politicians are corrupt, its people are illiterate and this, on the whole makes our motherland look pretty skint and cheap – a very good opportunity for the ‘so-called’ terrorists to hunt us down.  But do we ever think of doing our moral duty and responsibility completely? Do we defend our country, our motherland, which has given us so much to admire? Never! (Only very few can be handpicked, really!).  Are we not patriotic enough or are we ungrateful so as to feel ashamed of calling ourselves Indians? And last of all, we claim that the people are illiterate and the politicians are corrupt!
Hello, are we really awake? Because we are the ones who elect them.   Which means we don’t actually do our duty properly and are not really concerned about India’s prospects?  We are all too full with ego, envy and jealousy that we are not really bothered about what happens to the country but we get carried away with our personal glory.  And India which believes in the policy “live and let live” has now become vulnerable to the terrorists attacks.  We must remember though that there can neither be another Gandhi nor Obama.  At the same time, we must keep in mind the fact that you don't have security provided free in this world, only opportunity.  So, before it is too late let's rise ahead to grab it and stay vigilant before another 26/11 happens – by mistake. And as it is said, "happiness hides in life’s small details", let us, without stepping over our moral values and shifting blames over others, learn to maintain unity in diversity, enjoy every single minute of our life , in this great country.

GOOD MORNING ….INDIA!

First things first. Sincere congratulations to Mr.Aamir Khan on his amazing efforts to make us face the reality that is actually taking place in today’s scenario, for throwing light on the truth, for waking us up, from our deep sleep of ignorance, through his show “Satyameva Jayate”.(Though this is an after thought, as the show ended long ago!!)
The episodes of this show did leave me thinking………I wondered if we were all under some kind of spell that had kept us all oblivious to the dirty picture around us, or were we ignorant enough to not even notice what was happening around us?!
Actually, the problem is we do not prioritize... …these days we are more concerned about purchasing high priced tickets to watch the IPL matches at the stadium, than helping our fellow Indians who are not rich enough to afford even a morsel!!!
As long as we get our two square meals a day, As long as we are hale and hearty, as long as our personal ego is not hurt, or our personal glory is not at stake, we are not bothered by anything that is happening around us……..be it the CWG scam, the 2G spectrum, the 26/11 incident in Mumbai, the Nepal plane crash……..everything remains just a piece of news to us.
Moreover, to do something for the country, we think we need to be social activists… We always feel the need to have a Gandhiji or an Anna Hazareji to start a revolution, to stand up against wrong…
Is stopping something that is not right, that difficult in today’s world that, you have to support it or remain silent, in order to survive?
Let’s just give it a thought……..as a matter of fact, it is definitely possible for us to oppose something, that is not feasible, that is happening right under our nose, starting from things that happen in our day to day life, right from dumping the garbage in the middle of the roads, to crossing the roads when the signal is not green, to driving without license, to paying a lump sum to the traffic police for having driven without a helmet……..to list out a few.
These are just small deeds, which we can stop from happening, after all little drops of water do make a mighty ocean.
All we need is an awakening, a real urge, in each and everyone of us, to do what is right, to follow our conscience, to do what is best possible at our end for the greater good of the world,
Even if that involves shelving out our personal interests and glory, for some time.
If this sounds practically impossible, and appears to be only a sequence of words…..you are welcome to stop reading this article and flip this page, Because, everything actually depends on the individual, be it the desire to see a better India, to rise against wrong, to do what is right, or to strive to make Mother India feel proud of her children.
